I am ridiculously pleased at myself for completing this drawing, of a street corner in Ancoats, Manchester.

I do like a library. This amazing reading room in Melbourne is flooded with natural daylight from its dome, five storeys above the desks. From the day it was built the dome leaked, leading to its being covered over, but recent heritage restoration work has seen it restored.
