Capture an image of what's on your screen
If you don't know how to do this, I guarantee this is a technique you will love.
For ipad users
For Windows 8 or 10
Sadly this is more long winded but you'll like it when you get there. It's a 2-step process.
Step1 (skip this step if you use graphics programs and don't need help)
First you need to locate a graphics program that you will use to save images. We'll use 'Paint'.
Locate 'paint' in your program list. You might need to go to start > windows accessories

Step 2
Saving the images you want to capture
Method #1: using print screen
On your keyboard find the key at top right with 'prtscr' written on it.
Find something online that you want to save, eg this link: https://zoom.earth/#54.6539,-2.719105,17z,sat

While you are looking at and enjoying the image, press the prtsc key
No noise is made, nothing appears to happen - but you have made a copy of the whole screen you were looking at.
But to see it, you need to save it somewhere. You will save it in Paint.
Click on 'paint' on your taskbar
When the program opens up, choose 'paste'
Save your file by going to file> save as..... give it a name, decide which folder to put it in, and choose 'jpg' format.

Method #2: using the snipping tool
Go to start > windows accessories > snipping tool
You'll find it helpful to pin this to your taskbar for quick access
When you snip an image, I recommend you choose file>save as, so your hard work is rewarded and you don't lose all that good stuff you just found.
